P1 McLaren Hypercar powered 903 hp




McLaren certainly had a blast of energy P1 903 hp. The company revealed it ahead of the Geneva Motor Show 2013.

Holding a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 capable of producing 727 hp at 7500 rpm. While the electric motor capable of bringing forth the power 176 hp, bringing the total power to 903 hp at 7500 rpm.

McLaren confirms torque 719 Nm at 4000 rpm, while torque generated from the electric motor through 192 Nm. So the total torque produced 664 Nm at 4000 rpm. Kitchen runway is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch.

The electric motor can reach 176 hp power with instant thanks to Instant Power Assist System (IPAS). Operation with the buttons on the steering

Battery mounted on the bottom of the carbon fiber chassis that can be fully charged in two hours using a plug-in charger stored in the luggage compartment. Hypercar can run using the battery as far as 9.6 km.

McLaren has also been confirmed that P1 will feature F1 Drag Reduction System (DRS). Can be operated via a button on the steering wheel, can reduce the rear wing angle to reduce aerodynamic drag by 23 percent when driving at high speed
